Mosaic banner

Version 1.0.0

This is an advanced setting. It might take some take to learn how to set up a mosaic banner, so carefully read through all the steps

The mosaic banner functionality lets you advertise several items in a clear and concise way, bringing more attention to bigger banners and less to smaller.

1. Plan your mosaic banner

First, you need to decide in advance how many images you want and which layout you want them in. The mosaic allows for a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 images. Look below to select a layout.

2. Resize and edit the images

Use your favorite image editor program (such as Photoshop) to edit the images or design the banner you are looking for.

Make sure the measurements are perfect.

Tip! Keep in mind that you may need to keep some backup banners in case you run temporarily discounts or deals.

3. Create and upload images to headlines

Navigate to Design > Headlines in the Lightspeed backend.

  1. Add a new headline
  2. Enter a Title
  3. Set the language
  4. Optionally add a link
  5. Upload the image
  6. Make sure the image resolution coincides with the order in the mosaic

4. Rearrange the headlines

Often you’ll find the headlines scrambled after creating them. Use the triple-bar icon next to the headlines in the Lightspeed backend to rearrange them.

Make sure you refresh the front-end in the correct language to verify your results.
